FangShi ShiShuang: The Fangshi Shishuang comes in at 10 dollars on amazon.com. Out of the box it feels sandy, but with tensioning that feeling goes away. Pops and corner twists have never happened to me and I am very happy with this puzzle. It is fast and corner cuts virtually anywhere on the puzzle with the proper tensions. A great 2x2.

FangShi XingYu:
MoYu LingPo:
Type C WitTwo V1: The Wittwo is a crunchy cube but also has decent speed. It corner cuts well and feels very controllable. Pops and corner twists don't happen, but in the case that you have to assemble it, it is difficult like every other 2x2. Its shades are nice and so is this 2x2.

Cyclone Boys 2x2: The Cyclone Boys 2x2 is very cheap, making it a great economy cube. It is crunchy, yet very, very loud, almost obnoxiously. It corner cuts a little over 45 degrees, which is only okay by 2x2 standards. Corner twists are extremely rare but can happen every 100 or so solves. It is a good beginner 2x2, but I would still recommend a different one.

DaYan (ZhanChi) 2x2: The DaYan is probably the smoothest 2x2 you'll ever try. Numerous records have been set with this cube, algs flow extremely well on it, and flow even better when broken in. It's no surprise that so many people use this as their main considering the performance, how long it performs well, and how much you pay for it. Lately other 2x2's have given this cube some actual competition, but if you're looking for a smooth and fast 2x2 that just won't quit, you've found it.

I can say that I have only tried one Dayan and to be honest it was sluggish and just overall locky. The corner cuts weren't all to great either. But, my opinion is not as good as I have only tried one and the terrible turning was probably due to the owner setting it up weird.
